At the 2008 Salone the Tropicalia collection is presented, whose project starts from the same structure as the Antibodi but develops from a weaving process of threads. The chair, armchair, chaise longue, daybed, cocoon are part of this collection … The project includes a tubular steel structure, with geometric and faceted shapes, embellished by a skilful work of weaving threads that alternates solids and voids according to a design well precise, applying extreme care in every detail. Each object in the collection takes on a different personality depending on the material that is used. It can be cheerful and playful if you use thermoplastic polymer wires that are free of heavy metals and are recyclable in various colors, refined and precious if you use leather (in the indoor version), simple and elegant with monochrome HT double braid polyester cords or processed in two colors. The colored versions foresee the use of three threads combining different colors and creating amusing chromatic mixes. Dimensions: 157×90 h77cm
