646 light, from the experience and craftsmanship of our carpentry, reemerges the Cassina wooden chair, able to be easily placed in different environments and to satisfy a wide range of needs, both aesthetic and economical. A historical model, which animates new life. A new challenge for Cassina, which highlights the company’s artisanal skills, a perfect representation of the MedaMade brand. A simple chair, with a polite, clear, educated form, strong in its past as a design icon. The light chair marks the beginning in 1952 of a ITER Chwe includes in a unicum all the design and executive path of collaboration between Gio Ponti, Cesare Cassina and his craftsmen, who arrives in 1957 at the Superlight. Compared to the latter, characterized by slender legs with triangular section, the light has almost circular pillars and, because of its extreme resistance and simplicity that expresses all the nobility of the anonymous object, is a chair that has had over the years a commercial and distributive very high. A silhouette made of solid ash wood, in a range of variants studied to underline its elegance and to offer combinability with other models in catalogue. The seat is upholstered in fabric or leather, both coverings are removable or in natural paper rope. The multiple combinations of the shades of the ash structure and the various shades of the seat coverings make this model extremely current, made of contrasts of colors and materials, suitable for being inserted in domestic contexts and contract. Structure: • In solid natural or natural stained ash, black, white, walnut, mud, oil green, amaranth red. SEAT: • In natural rope or in black or white colour • Padded with rubber insert and velveteen with removable upholstery in fabric or leather, applied by Velcro.
